Gochang-Eupseong is an historic fortress in South Korea. To determine the status of the cultural asset, assess damages, determine repairs, and manage its preservation, the project team at Geospatial Information wanted to generate a 3D digital model of the infrastructure. They needed comprehensive reality modeling technology to ensure an accurate digital representation of the heritage site.

Geospatial Information selected ContextCapture to process images of the north gate and fortress into accurate 3D reality models. Using the models, they were able to easily locate areas of damage and points that required repair.
