The USD 220 million Sharjah waste-to-energy facility will incinerate 37.5 tons of municipal solid waste per hour to generate energy. The process will produce approximately 29 megawatts of net electrical power that will be supplied to the emirate’s electricity grid, delivering electricity to 28,000 households.
