The Sberbank Technopark is a new multifunctional architectural landmark at the Skolkovo Innovation Center that spans 266,134 square meters and will accommodate 14,000 people. Featuring a complex geometric glass façade and an overall atypical building shape, the large-scale project presented technical and coordination challenges among the multidiscipline international team. SBD piloted an integrated lifecycle BIM approach that required establishing a connected data environment and digital construction management processes.

Having previously experienced inefficiencies using third-party technology, they selected ContextCapture and SYNCHRO to visually monitor the construction site and generate a dynamic 4D model. Working in an integrated technology platform streamlined multidiscipline collaboration and real-time decision-making, reducing construction time by 203 days and saving USD 5 million. By using Bentley applications, they identified clashes, improving accuracy and quality, and reduced risks. The transition to lifecycle digitalization in this project transformed their traditional vision of construction management, driving a data-driven approach for all future projects.
